Gender intentionality project Gender issues are not always specifically addressed in sanitation outcomes and to achieve this, greater gender equality in sanitation provision, gender analytical approaches and insights must be developed to influence sanitation narratives, strategies, expertise, and perspectives. This project will focus on developing a gender intentionality strategy and framework for the South African Sanitation Technology Enterprise Programme (SASTEP) to put more emphasis on the gender issues that impact the South African sanitation value chain and to achieve greater gender equality in sanitation provision.
