FSMA will be attending IWA Sri Lanka 2019! Will you make it?

The flush toilet, which is taken for granted in some places in the world, is not a universal reality. Many within the community of sanitation professionals now question whether the traditional ‘flush and dispose’ treatment of excreta is a concept worth heralding or whether we should, instead, re-think and re-invent the toilet as we know it.

Thousands of professionals in the field are bringing to the IWA Water and Development Congress & Exhibition, 1-5 December 2019, Colombo, Sri Lanka, emerging discussions around breakthrough technologies and sanitation systems that can better accommodate to the realities of developing and emerging economies. Non-sewered sanitation, faecal sludge management, moving sanitation infrastructure off the grid are just some of the concepts that are stirring our thinking about the sanitation systems of the future
