Access to water and sanitation remains a worldwide challenge. Despite the progress, two billion people in the world don’t have access to quality drinking water at home, and almost one person in two does not have access to adequate sanitation. In Africa, nearly 400,000,000 people have no access to drinking water and about 700,000,000 have no access to sanitation.

On the occasion of its next International Congress and Exhibition to be held from February 18 to 22, 2024 in Guinea Conakry, the African Water and Sanitation Association (AfWASA) is inviting the large WASH sector family to share solutions for improving this worrying situation.
